edited to add i am going home tonight!! They are not going to close the foot up but let it close on its own...they will have me up to 5 iv's a day at home for a month but I am going home!!!!!!! (doing the one legged happy dance)
the good news is they took out a tendon rather than bone,,the culture shows i am fighting only one staph infection and not the 6 infections i had before...the dr today feels the iv's i am on will clear that up.........i hope to be released home maybe thursday of next week

I'm busier than a cat covering up today, and tomorrow my daughters and families are taking me to Branson for Fathers day.. going to the Titanic and dinner at McFarlanes.. Good food!!! I hope you are doing better.. pinch one of the doctors on the rear and cause some excitement or something to break the boredom...ha ha
The surgeon came in today to say he will leave my toe and just take the bone for now...floppy toe is better than no toe,..he cant promise it wont happen some day but it wont be tomorrow..yipppppppppeeeeeeeeeee!!
