I am home! As Dorothy said in the "Wizard of OZ" THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
Well now, I am not sure if you call a wedding a vacation! Wedding are such a wonderful celebration! But it takes A LOT out of ya! Seeing all the relatives, catching up on news, looking at how much the great nieces and great nephews have grown up! Plus all the great great nieces and nephews! YIKES! I am getting old!
It was my great niece and godchild's wedding and now she is now an old married lady! She has a good guy for a husband and they share a lovely new home on the edge of Hastings, Minnesota. She works for the Minnesota IRS and she told me that I must be good or she would clue someone in from the Missouri IRS to keep an eye on me!!!!!!
Over 1800 + miles total - driving up to Minnesota land, sharing time with my son and lovely daughter-in-law, running around visiting with old friends, attending the wedding, driving all over the countryside, plus coming home... It is nice to be out of that car!
GLAD to be back in the Hillbilly Hills of Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Tex, Good to hear from you again. Boy, it sure would be nice just to have a day where you could do anything you want to, wouldn't it? I sure hope they get you straightened out soon. Tell the bear we said hello. I haven't been riding since sunday... too hot for me.. hope to see you all again soon.. Commodore
hey Commodore...good to see you...Kodiak has been riding to work on the trike but i still cant ride...iv's are finally gone but still cant walk....hope to find out by labor day if i can have heart surgery....we are hoping to target sept 8th as our next ride..there is a ride for the march of dimes...several events coming up for with the CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) including a weekend at their mountain in Arkansas mid october
I rode my trike to Galmey Mo for a VFW district meeting sunday, which is north of Pomme De Terre lake. It was 127 miles round trip. It was so hot, I could not get a puff of cool breeze anywhere. I had to stop a few times to get cooled off and get a cold drink. It was miserable. Wish I had taken my A/C car after I had left. I have been rearranging my STUFF. I got way too much STUFF. I have a radial arm saw and a shopsmith I need to get rid of. Tomorrow I have my grandbaby for the day. I would like to visit and see how things are progressing.. maybe wednesday or so. I have a strange feeling in the back of my mind, that I have something I'm supposed to do on saturday, but can't think what it is at this moment. If I don't recall it, I would like to do the Rockaway Beach ride. What time are you gonna leave? Which route are you gonna take? Will chat with you later..
Nope!, checkin in and nuthin ta read, Come on over if ya feel like visitin, I dug that other trike out of the back of the shop and workin on it between workin on the roadster, 4 hr in the shop this mornin but I gotta do it early, gettin kinda hot pretty quick in the mornings was down there 0630 to 1030, makin a little headway every day, I guess thats what it takes. What have you been up to? are you going down to Rockaway beach this Saturday?, beach and babes sounds pretty good to me I was kinda hopin we could get a few of us together for the ride down there but havn't heard from anyone yet. C-Ya..... Bill
