I too will be there friday. I will be making the "Bikers for McCain" run on saturday to Branson. It is starting in Rolla, and picking up riders in the Lebanon area also. Then those around the Springfield area will meet at the Price Cutter store on East Battlefield, just west of hwy 65. and then ride on into Branson. Here is the message I got.. Hi all,
Keep your schedule clear for next Saturday. Only 7 more days until we ride! Here's the schedule as of now:
10 a.m. Saturday, October 4, riders from Lebanon and surrounding area meet at the B&D truck stop at exit 127 for ride to Springfield rally. 11 a.m. we meet in the Price Cutter parking lot, just off 65 on Battlefield, for ride to Branson Landing and lunch. Note: this is a change from our previous meeting place at PFI.
If you can, mount a flag on your bike. We'll have McCain/Palin bumper stickers available, so bring some scotch tape to paste it on your windshield.
If you haven't already signed up for a "Bikers for McCain" T-shirt, let me know soonest. I've ordered 20 for $15 each, but can increase the order if more are requested. If more are requested I can lower the cost and still cover my cost/investment.
We've alerted the media in Lebanon and Springfield and hope for TV, radio and newspaper coverage.
Talk to your biker buddies. The more bikers, the better. See you Saturday!
