Duane spoke with the woman at the boy's home today...they are a private home so not helped or governed by the state...the woman was in a dr's office so they didnt have time to make arrangements for us to come out..he will  call her back later on

duane talked to DFS today...they wlll look into the boys home and get in touch by the end of the week

duane tried to call DFS friday but they were closed,..he will try again today...we are planning to deliver the tree Saturday

Of course we didn't need any help. We are women and shopping is therapy! We did a good job of spending the money. It comes naturally to us.  Garnet

Vote taken, thanks. and have you guys or Duane anyway, had a chance to check out the boys home so we know it is a legitimate organazation.   Some of the Ladies, Sheri Ducker, Garnet Simmons, Sandra Clyde, and Linda Koelzer spent the afternoon at WalMart shopping for the Womens Shelter, (they also drug me and Al McNutt, and Jerry Paw around to help them) believe me, they didn't need our help!

Sandra and I plan to be at the Christmas Party, if anyone wants to donate and can't make it to the party, we can take your items or donation down to Jim & Lady, just give us a call 234-6598, cash donations can be sent to Garnet (our treasurer). I have had several calls and its been brought up to donate $200 from our Chapter treasury. This needs to be voted on by the membership so please let me know your vote, please call or email me, Thanks to all and Happy Holidays to All!!

Bill Jr and Jenny Stanford and 4 kids lost their home to a fire last night. They lost everything - clothes, furniture, bedding, tools, everything. Desiree is a size 2, Ryan a size 6, Dalton an 8 and Wylan a 14 Huskey. Bill wears 38-40 pants and Jenny is an 18-20. Anything you can spare is appreciated. You can bring it to my party next week where it will be picked up or send any donations to me at BTW Headquarters. At this time of year we think of giving. Why not try to help one of our own family.
