Boy that brought back some memories.. I walked on the flight deck of that bird farm once. You gotta remember, this was only 15 years after we bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima, but the Japanese in Yokosuka and other ports all treated us like we were the greatest thing since chocolate candy.. Of which they dearly loved.. and Salem cigarettes...ha ha I have my cruise books from 2 WESTPAC cruises on the USS Ranger CVA-61. Some good times...
