Update: 3-13-07

Melissa recieved news of the death of her father on the morning of 3-11-07.

Melissa had a few spells of fainting and apnea on Sunday. She made the decision to stay at Mayo and continue with her testing instead of traveling to SE Texas to attend her father's services on 3-14-07.

Marc was allowed to stay with her ?Sunday night and reports that she slept well and they had breakfast together in her room on Monday morning. Melissa went into cardiac arrest around noon on Monday and placed on life support. The Dr's tried to stabilize her all afternoon on Monday. She went into cardiac arrest again that night alittle before midnight and this time they were not able to save her.

Melissa went home to the Lord on Monday March 12, 2007.

She is free and is at peace.

Viewing will be Friday March 16th at Resthaven Funeral Home at SW 104th and Western from 6-8 pm.

Services will be Saturday March 17th at 2 pm at Westmoore Community Church on S Western, just North of Westmoore High School, with graveside services at Resthaven immediately following.

In lew of flowers the family requests donations to be sent to Orlich Transplant Fund.

Thank you for all your prayers and continue to pray for Marc and Tyler.
