 Wow Paw! Never thought I would hear that comment from you. Now just to let you all know how my day went. Dick called home about 9:30 this morning from work and said he was hurting real bad and was going to the Doctor. By the time I got dressed and got to MT Grove they all ready hade him in the ambulance.So we got to St Johns about 11:30 and left the hospital at 6:00 tonight. Will explane more later.

  I wish some of us could have been there but circumstance didn't let that happen for any of us....Very sorry.  We are very thankful to Route 66 Trikers for all the support that has been given to us. This will help get our patches...really wish there was some other way  for saying thank you but I do believe you all know how wonderful you are to us all....A big special thanks to Dick and Faysmile

That 50/50 was a total of $60.00. $30.00 donated by Route66 chapter and Dick and Fay Luhmann won the other $30.00 and donated it to them.

IT PASSED....NOW WE HAVE A NEW BTW CHAPTER IN MT. VERNON, MO, THE (TRI-ROLLER TRIKERS) ROCKS! WE ALSO DID A 50/50 FOR THEM JUST TO HELP OUT AND GET THEM GOING....IT WAS $60.00 NOT BAD. RIGHT! PAW'S JUST JAWIN'

The vote should be at the meeting so it is recorded in the minutes but for my 2 cents worth, it is just a formality, I have not talked to anyone that is against the Tri-Rollers Chapter forming in Mt Vernon. but if you can't make the meeting you can send your vote to Garnet. Write in votes should also have your BTW membership number on it to be valid, I guess an email works too??? Correct me if I'm wrong. As for me, I vote YES!, jeez, how could you say no to such a hard working group, besides Dizzy is still an R66T member and also has a vote <G> biggrin biggrin biggrin

Lonestar, the Tri-Roller Trikers, chapter is in Mt. Vernon, Mo. 45 out of 50 miles away from us, and the BTW, by-laws say chapters must be 50 miles apart. BUT AS LONG AS WE BOTH (CHAPTERS) CAN GET ALONG AND HAVE FUN WITH EVENTS, RUNS, ECT. We need to vote them in....and say it's alright that they'll be in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Hope this helps! Paw

  There are now 23 members since we got 6 new ones Sunday......We also have 2 that are wanting to join but they have been out of state I will get it done when they get back and a couple with 5 kids that want to join also trying to stay busy with getting NEW BTW members weather they want to be in our chapter or not WATCH OUT TEXAS MISSOURI MAY BE SMALLER BUT WE MIGHTY!!!!

EVERYONE SAY SOMETHING....OKAY WHAT A NICE MEETING WE ALL HAD. DIZZY, WHAT WAS THE COUNT ON MEMBERS? ANYWAY YOU ARE NOW A DIRECTOR OF A NEW BTW CHAPTER, AND NOW WAITING ON THE R66T VOTE. I was there in thought. My daughter's fiance's parents invited Sherryl and I to Bolivar for dinner, so we had to go. It was very nice, and a BIG spread with nice folks.. Hope all went well there, and congratulations to the new chapter officers and members.. Me being on of course!!smile

   Hey Paw, I went, huh, and had a great time and the people were the best to visit with....and 6 new members....the best part was the YOUNG beautiful never meets a stranger ( not too many ARE stranger) new director (smile) Wonder who she is??????
