After several conversations with folks at the Missouri Reunion about wanting to get together more often, we have put together a Thanksgiving Dinner Party on Sunday, November 11 at the Masonic Hall in Ava (behind Town & Country Grocery Store) where our Christmas party will also take place. We can meet at 4pm and eat at 5pm. This way, all your Veteran's Day activities will be finished.
Sheri, Denise, Chris, Possum and I will be putting together a full Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, deviled eggs, cranberries, nut breads, cider, coffee and pie.
The cost will be $10 per person and, this way, no one will have to bring anything, just come and enjoy good food and great fellowship and give thanks for our friendships.
The $10 fee will cover the cost of the food and the $75 hall rental.
We will need a definite RSVP by November 7 to be sure to prepare just the right amount of food.
